Quotable Sunday

K, I can't go to bed before doing my "Quotable Sunday" post...
Today I have chose to do quotes on Faith. Pastor Todd has been teaching on Faith these past two weeks & I just feel like doing it on faith =)

Faith is not belief. Belief is passive. Faith is active.
~Edith Hamilton

You can do very little with faith, but you can do nothing without it.
~Samuel Butler
He who loses money, loses much; He who loses a friend,
loses much more, He who loses faith, loses all.
~Eleanor Roosevelt

Take the first step in faith.
You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future.
It's simply taking God at His Word and taking the
next step.

~ Robert Schuller

Without faith a man can do nothing; with it all things are possible.
~ Dr. Robert Schuller

Faith is reacting positively to a negative situation.
~ Sir William Osler

Faith is no irresponsible shot in the dark.
It is a responsible trust in God, who knows the desires
of your hearts, the dreams you are given, and the goals you have set.
He will guide your paths right.
~ Joni Erickson Tada

My LONG week!

This has been SUCH a week!
Dominic has been running a fever for over a week now. It started a week ago Sunday morning. I thought it was just the flu, but then the fevers got so high (104.6*) that I got worried. You can read about all that here.
Well, nothing changed by Monday night, so Tuesday morning I called Dr. Cuni's office & they got him in that morning. When we went in, he of course didn't have a fever at all. She sent us over for blood work & another chest x-ray.
We get there & finally called back. My poor baby is trembling. Delayna is in her carseat fussing while the intern tries to console her (NO GO!), so my good friend Jackie comes in & gets Delayna's attention while I try to focus on Dominic. The phlebotomist cleans the area she is going to take blood & goes to get the butterfly needle. I let go of Dominic's hand for one second & he starts pulling his sleeves down, fighting to get his blood drawn. It was so hard to stay calm & make him understand that it will be quick and easy. He is SO opposite of Anthony! Anthony would walk in and get his blood work done like it was a treat. Dominic literally kicked & screamed. He is so timid & small & scared. It broke my heart!
I of course, had to be strong & let him be scared & fall into mama's arms for comfort.
That was done & over with. He got 2 suckers and a stack of stickers (So blessed I have an "in" there and friends that truly care!).
Then a bit more of a wait and he went with Jackie to get his x-ray done.
We went to Burger King to get him his chicken nuggets & fries to make it all better. Get home & he doesn't eat. I should've known that he was about to get a fever.
I laid Dominic and Delayna down at 12:45. He slept until 4:45!
Dr. Cuni called me just as he was waking up. She told me that his white blood cells looked good, but his 'sedamentation rate' was elevated. She asked if he was complaining of his body hurting or joints bothering him. I guess this indicates a sign of inflamation, but where is to be determined. He has been fine. She asked me to bring him in in the morning to do a flu & strep swab. I asked her if I could run him down now, just so I could know right away. She let me.
I ran him down there & he was running his fever. I had her check him & she just confirmed that he was running a high fever, yet again & I'm not crazy!
She did the swabs, poor Dominic was once again freaking out. Those swabs are NOT an easy thing either. It made him gag & the nose one really sucked!
She put it into the little vile things & waited for the results. She tested for Flu, Swine Flu & Strep. All 3 came back negative....UGH!!!!
Dr. Cuni said to just go home & keep him comfortable and she would be following up again the next day.
Last night at about 4:45pm I got a call from Dr. Cuni. She said that the chest x-ray came back clear & the other test were all negative. Still mind boggling!
She said to continue to monitor him. It is possible that he is fighting a virus, but what kind of virus is unknown. She wants to see him next week & have his sederation rate tested again.

Yesterday we had no fevers & so far today, so good. I am praying this is all over with!

Now on to Delayna...
She was a crabby patty Sat & Sun. Not sleeping for very long, not eating all the way, just not a happy girl at all. I had no idea what was going on with her.
Monday morning, Jose went out to my Grandpa & Grandma's house to help Grandpa with the sink that exploded Sunday morning. I planned on going, but with Dominic being a grump & running fevers and now Delayna just being unhappy & fussy, I decided to stay home.
Well, while nursing her, I noticed her little lip had a white blister on it. I took her off & sure enough, all inside her lips & the roof of her mouth was chuck full of white blisters! My poor baby has thrush, BAD! I kinda said out loud, Delayna has thrush!
Anthony commented, is that what's inside her mouth?
I was like, YEAH, you saw them?
He said, Yeah, I told you. She's had them since Thursday or Friday.
UGH! THIS KID, WHY DIDN'T HE MAKE SURE I KNEW...."HE TOLD ME." AAAAAAAAAAH!
So, I immediately started treating both of us with gentian violet. My poor girl is in pain, my boy is running fevers & sick of getting tests done...I'm just D.O.N.E!
Delyana's mouth is starting to look better. I saw one spot on her yesterday & I still have to check her today.
This weeks has been exhausting mentally, physically, emotionally and I AM DRAINED!
Not to mention on top of no sleeping & caring for sick babies all day...
I found a new blog that shows really cool hairstyles. So my little girl wants mama to get up every morning & do her hair. Yeah, I know I could say no & start when everyone is better, but she is always left out in the field. She needs her 'special attention'. So I have committed to getting up by 7am all week this week so I can have some mama/little time and make my girl pretty for school. She's getting lots of attention & complements and it makes her feel good.
So, that's been my week. I am really hoping that I get a nice relaxing weekend & everyone is on the mend!
OH, and on another note...My dear friend Karen, who has allowed me to borrow her camera since having Delayna, is taking her camera back =( So I won't be having many pics of the kids. It sucks that Little's promotion is in 2 weeks & I won't have a camera. I just may have to invest in a cheap small one.
K, that's all...

Word Filled Wednesday

Dear Lord, thank You for always being there for me, and for promising to make me new, even when I sometimes feel so broken. I pray that You would help me see the ways you are working in my life, fulfilling Your promises to me as I put my hope in You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I know I'm a day late on this post, but I've been dealing with a lot around here. Dominic has been fighting fevers & has an unknown virus in his little body. Delayna has had thrush & I've been fighting my own issues with that. I am mentally & physically exhausted.
But I praise God that even though I am drained, I can still go to him to find the Grace I need at this moment.

Quotable Sunday

Toni decided to pay respect to our Soldiers by dedicating her Quotable Sunday to them. I am definitely following her, as I feel our men & women deserve the respect their due.

Word Filled Wednesday

I found an awesome link this week that I didn't see last. It's a link to a lady that partners with 160 acre woods for WFW. It's called Extravagant Grace, and talks about why she started WFW, go check it out!

Here is my Scripture for the day:

This comes from this past week of dealing with my poor sick baby. You can read about the hospital visit here.

As I stood in the hospital for 6 hours, I had lots of quiet time to think & dwell.
My poor husband was just beat! He had been up for almost 24hours straight, worked a hard day & was here sitting in the hospital with his boy.
I did alot of rocking, swaying, holding either Dominic or Delayna. When one got tired of their Papa, we would switch off. I stood alot with Delayna, rocking her & keeping her quiet.
At one point, I looked at my phone & saw that it was after 2am. I was just talking to God & thanking Him for ALL of my many blessings. As I was talking to him, watching my poor husband nod his head off while holding Dominic, I realized my strength. I just began to thank God for the strength HE has given me!
I love Isaiah 40:31, because with all of the things I have gone through in my life, I have prayed that the Lord would mount me up like an eagle. That as my physical body would grow weary, that he would strengthen me & raise me up higher so I could accomplish whatever it is that I need to do.
I Praise you Father for YOUR strength & pray that you continue to carry & strengthen me.

FOUND A VIDEO! This is my song!!!! Whenever I am in need, this is what my hearts cry is:

A sick boy & trip to the hospital...

Our poor boy has been SICK!
Dominic woke up a few times during the night Saturday-Sunday. We got up early Sunday morning and started getting ready for church. While I was upstairs, Dominic & Adriana were eating breakfast. I hear coughing and Adriana yells, "Mom! Dominic's throwing up!"
I run downstairs to find Adriana being the sweetest sister helping Dominic get sick into a bowl.
I took it over & she helped me clean up the mess.
She's definitely going to be a Dr, if she can already handle cleaning up her little brother's vomit!
I got him changed & finished getting ready for church, thinking it was just a 'one time thing'. I came down stairs to find Dominic laying on the couch looking like something definitely came over him.
I sat down next to him & he was burning up!
I took his temp & i was 102.3. Gave him Motrin & got the cool rag on him.
Jose, Anthony, Adriana, Delayna & I ended up going to church & I left Bits with my mom for the morning.
She called just as church started & said he was burning up.
When we got home, he was still hot.
He wasn't able to keep anything down, not even his meds.
I called up Noe to see if we could get a bottle of Perfect Water aka "our miracle water", because I knew that his body would hold that. We got it & sure enough it worked & he kept it down.
We fought his fever all night with it spiking up to 104.3 around 1am.
Monday it wasn't getting better, so I called Dr. Cuni's office & the nurses told me to call Urgent Care & get him in. By now, his fever spiked again to 104.6*.
We took him into Urgent Care & the Dr was an idiot! I don't like saying that about Dr's, but this guy told me nothing more than what I already knew. He was telling a mother of 4 to keep the meds in, bath him, put a rag on his neck etc... DUH!
Then he sent us on our way with no testing or anything.
A few hours later his fever was up again & he started complaining about his neck hurting...
HIGH ALARM!
So we made a phone call to Glenda to get the prayer chain going & headed out to Redlands Community Hospital with Delayna in tow...
We got there at 9:30pm, registered & waited & waited & waited & waited!
The hospital was PACKED & we were the bottom of the pot!
I can write a whole post about the experience at the hospital, but I wont bore you.
So, after a blood draw (from the same phlebotomist that took my blood when I had Delayna), an IV, a chest x-ray & almost doing a spinal tap on my boy, it was determined that he has a viral infection.
Here's a pic of him with his IV,,,not happy

Here's Papa & his boy, trying to rest a bit. It was SO very noisey, everytime either Dominic or Delayna would fall asleep, they would wake up within minutes!

The Doctor, even though took forever to do anything, was an awesome Doctor who really did care about our little man. Just before releasing us he was just hanging out with us talking.
We were released at 3:30am and headed home to get some much needed rest!
It was a horrible night, but I am thankful that he didn't have meningitis.

WHAT!?!?!

You have got to be kidding me! I must be lost in my own world again...
I forgot to blog about Delayna rolling over!
I blogged on the 4th of May about her turning 3 mos, all her little new things, etc. I mentioned that she's about ready to roll over.
Well, the next day when I went to get her out of her crib, she was on her back!
She rolled over!
It's a little old now, but she is so adorable doing it! It's a fight to get her to sleep too. She knows that if she rolls over to her back, I can't pat her butt...Little Stinker!
Anyways...will be back later for more interesting updates...

We have hit a milestone...

With Adriana.
She has been telling me about hair under her arm. I built up enough bravery to look & well,,,She has some hair under her arms that needs to be taken care of.
Then I was in denial. I didn't want to think that my baby girl was going to have to start shaving. But, it was factual & she needs to take care of it before she started to get teased for it. Which she is going to Hurricane Harbor this weekend w/ her school & I couldn't send her with hair under her arms.
So, Yesterday I went to Costco & bought a big thing of the razors that I favor & decided it was time to teach her to shave her underarms.
I don't ever remember my mom teaching me, honestly. I do remember me shaving my arms & legs at a very young age, on my own. So, I honestly didn't even know how to 'teach' her how to do it.
While she was in the shower last night I went in & taught my girl how to shave her underarms. It was so sad to think that my baby girl is growing up. It's exciting, but sad!

Also, yesterday, I took her to Old Navy to buy a bathing suit to go on her trip. We picked out a couple of cute ones from the girls section & went to try them on...
She is too big & we had to go visit the women's section =(
We ended up getting her a zebra print tankini in small from the women's section...She's even getting big with her clothes...
I will get picks up later!

Not just ordinary water...

mmmmmmmmm
Are you one of those people who think all water is the same?
Are you one of those people who will only drink bottled or filtered water, but will clean & cook (as long as the temps get high enough) with faucet water?
Or, are you one of those people who filter their water through a VERY expensive filtration system that brings the Ph levels & ionization and all that other jazz to a certain level?

Well, I am #2. I will only drink bottled of filtered water (even my kid's Kool-Aid), but will cook & clean w/ the faucet water.
The reason I am bringing this up, is because I am a skeptic! I don't always fall for the latest trends, fads, etc. I don't believe just anything & I don't fall for the "new thing" just because everyone else is.
So, Friday night Anthony went to a friend's house. While there, he was showing Anthony some stuff that he bought for nutrition, fitness (he's a fellow soccer player), etc. When I picked Ant up, my friend came to the truck & informed me that he gave Ant some stuff to sample and see how he likes it. While I listened, he was explaining some other things to me, I was off in another land commonly known as, "Melissa's Skeptic World". I was analyzing everything he was saying, I was finding questions to quiz him on and the list goes on.
We went home & Ant was all pumped up and showed Jose some of the stuff. There was a bottle of "miracle water", a couple vials of joint health stuff you put into water (like the dry packets) and a dry packet of another water mix, but w/ vitamins.
I ended up taking the bottle of water, because it looked really familiar to me, to the computer & did some research on it. Come to find out, it was the same water someone came into the gym trying to sell us. I've seen the water, but never really knew anything about it.
The next morning while packing up for Ant's tournament, we made sure that he took his stuff that our friend had given us. We headed out to Highland for our day.
We got to Highland & I think it was about 10 billion degrees. Honestly, it was in the low to mid 80's by 10am & just got hotter during the day.
Jose & I were really proud of ourselves, because we packed up a TON of waters & Powerade's.
Before Ant's first game, I gave him his bottle of "miracle water" and repeated the instructions our friend gave us...
"Drink 1/4-1/2 before the game, 1/4 during the game & finish it up after the game"
So, he headed out to the field & played a long, hard, hot game. BTW, that was the only good game we had that day!
After the game, I found Ant & his bottle of water. He had about 2 mouthfulls left & I made him drink it because it was SO hot! Which he ended up drinking one & spit the other out...Bone Head!
The day went on & we had our 2nd game at 2pm, the middle of the heat. Let me tell ya, it was HOT & a HORRIBLE game (will save for another post).
I made Ant up his bottle of vitamins & sent him on his way.
The team played the game, we ended up having MAJOR drama & by the time the game was over our team & parents were ready to get off the field ASAP.
We headed out to my brother's house for dinner & a fun relaxing afternoon, then had to head over to this friend of ours (who gave Ant the water) for a presentation on a possible business opportunity.
While at the presentation, they brought out the water. The guy was talking & I honestly was off in "Melissa's Skeptic World" again. I like to visit there quit often =)
But, while I was off in my own world, I had an eye opening realization.
That bottle of water that man was holding, was the only bottle of water Ant drank ALL day at the field!
While we were handing out waters left & right (which we were glad to do!), our son wasn't one asking for water!
That water that guy was talking about, really is "magic water"! WOW!
So, I shared with the group that was there about the games, how hot it was & that Ant only drank that water.
Later on the man did another presentation with the water. He showed a few of us about the balance, strength & flexibility. Once again, being a skeptic, I tried it for myself. What's weird is, the water tingled my mouth. No one else felt this & the presenters said that I'm the 4th person to say that to them. But it has something to do with the oxygen that is in the water that is pumped into my system, starting with the mouth. It was a trip! It was like I swished with peroxide!
After we were done there, we went & got the kids from James & Gail's. I asked Ant about the water. He said he wasn't thirsty at all. That he spit out the last of the water, because he felt too hydrated.
Have you ever felt 'too hydrated'?
Jose & I are praying about this business opportunity. In all honesty, I would sign up just to get the discount on the water! I am thinking about buying a case before our boy's next tournament for them to try out.
I know not everything is for everyone, but if you want more info, let me know!

Quotable Sunday

Hmmm, lookie I found...A new post. It’s called Quotable Sunday…If you know me, you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Quotes!!!
This week I thought I’d post some fun quotes that either mom’s say or are said about moms. You can find the original here:

So here are some that I have found & like:

"It's not easy being a mother. If it were easy, fathers would do it."~The Golden Girls

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh

“Any child can tell you that the sole purpose of a middle name is so he can tell when he’s really in trouble.”
Dennis Fakes

“A mother's love is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, it never fails or falters, even though the heart is breaking” By: Helen Rice

“Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs... since the payment is pure love.” By: Mildred B. Vermont

“Nobody knows of the work it makes/to keep the home together. Nobody knows of the steps it takes/ nobody knows but mother.”

The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.
- Author Unknown

Before you were conceived I wanted you
Before you were born I loved you
Before you were here an hour I would die for you
This is the miracle of life.
- Maureen Hawkins

And I will leave you with thi (because honestly this could go on forever!)

It will be gone before you know it. The fingerprints on the wall appear higher and higher. Then suddenly they disappear.
- Dorothy Evslin

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Just A Girl

OK, so theres this girl who has been in my life a little over 13 years. She has always been a really cute & adorably sweet girl.
But as she grows older, she is becoming more independent & an awesome teen who will grow up to be an even awesomer woman!
The other night I was watching AI. No Doubt was on & as I was listening to Gwen Stefani sing her old classic "Just A Girl", it reminded me of this girl.
Here's the video & the lyrics:

Take this pink ribbon off my eyes

I'm exposed

And it's no big surprise

Don't you think I know

Exactly where I stand

This world is forcing me

To hold your hand

'Cause I'm just a girl, little ol' me

Don't let me out of your sight

I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite

So don't let me have any rights

Oh. . . I've had it up to here!

The moment that I step outside

So many reasons for me to run and hide

I can't do the little things

I hold so dear

'Cause it's all those little things

That I fear

'Cause I'm just a girl,

I'd rather not be

'Cause they won't let me drive

Late at night

I'm just a girl

Guess I'm some kind of freak

'Cause they all sit and stare

With their eyes

I'm just a girl

Take a good look at me

Just your typical prototype

Oh. . . I've had it up to here!

Oh. . . am I making myself clear?

I'm just a girl

I'm just a girl in the world. . .

That's all that you'll let me be!

I'm just a girl, living in captivity

Your rule of thumb

Makes me worry some

I'm just a girl, what's my destiny?

What I've succumbed to

Is making me numb

I'm just a girl, my apologies

What I've become is so burdensome

I'm just a girl, lucky me

Twiddle-dum there's no comparison

Oh. . . I've had it up to

Oh. . . I've had it up to

Oh. . . I've had it up to here.

This girl is Radically Honest & this song just fits her to the 'T'! She is so individual and is totally comfortable with who she is. But there are so many people ready to judge her for who and what she is. She is disgustingly honest & I'm sure her mom can go ballistic sometimes raising her, she has learned that she is who she is...

Honest, Her Own Person, Dependent, Rockin, and Just One Awesome Girl!

Just an example of what she's about, here is a post I stole from her blog:

Gosh you know i just sometimes love the subject of friends..
Because you know your real ones and ones who are just plain well BITCHES... Thats right its all the truth out here .. I WILL NOT BE SILENCED OR CENSORED!!!!!!!

The real ones know what to do in situations..Fake ones will just be theirselves no matter the outcome.. Which in some cases is really , really bad!

Some things a real friend does..

1-Will Never date your ex.
2-Lie to you about how you look.
3-Listen to the other things the friend has to say.
4-Meet the other friends of their friends, and consider liking them.
5-Wont keep secrets.

Simple things Right?

Some things a not so real friend will do...

1-Not give a shit about what happened between you and your ex and will sleep/date him behind your back..AND BRAG ABOUT IT...
2-Give advice for clothing..when really it makes you look like a slutty whore.
3-Disregard everything they say and go off and hurt themselves..While the other friend [the real one] wont come and help because if they do they will say 'I told you SO..'
4-Completely use the other friends and turn them against eachother.
5-D. All of the above..

So keep your friends close and your enemies closer..cause you never know what side your friends are on..

I am proud to know Cera (which she was named after a Dinosaur, you remember Land Before Times...YUP, Cera the triceratops & she is just like her!).

Thank you my sistah from another mutha for allowing me to be part of your daughter's life. You are raising one awesome human being, who in my opinion, FREAKING ROCKS!!!

PS, I go on your blog Miss Missy just to listen to your music sometimes =}

Love You Both!

Take A Moment...

To enjoy your day.
The Herrera's House has been suffering with Bronchitis & colds this past week. Not fun with a little baby & mama being sick. But we have managed. I am completely lacking sleep & feeling horrible w/ a headache that won't let up.
Then, I go outside & it's just so gorgeous! To open your eyes to what we have been blessed with.
The weather is wonderful, even though it's HOT! The kids playing in the street, even though their in your way. The soccer practices that I have to run my kids to, but to see & hear all of the families & kids enjoying the park playing, running and enjoying each other.
So, take a moment & enjoy your day!

Here's some pics of our day today...
Dominic was outside playing in the hose with Oscar. I put Delayna in her jumper (which I have learned she absolutely LOVES!) and she watched Dominic playing.

Adi & Dominic went over to Ti & Tia's house to go swimming for a bit and Ant went to soccer practice. So I took advantage of Jose and jumped on the 'puter for a bit. Well after about 20 mins, I noticed how quiet it was. I stood up and found this...

I should have taken advantage & laid down for awhile myself, but I had to get Ant in 5 mins...
Here's to a fabulous Summer!

Getting ready for Kindergarten

My little bits had his kindergarten physical yesterday.
He is so sweet! He knew he was gonna get shots & was asking me to tell the Dr that he doesn't want his shots...Poor thing!
We went in & he got weighed & measured...38lbs & 42"
Then we had to have him pee in a cup...poor little man! He wasn't sure what to do, but luckily he went with me many a dr visits while pregnant with Delayna & saw mama do it.
After that task, we "played a game" where he had to stand FAR away from the wall & tell the nurse the shapes that he saw...Come to find out his right eye is maturing faster than his left. By the age of 7 his eyes should be completely developed & we'll test again.
We went into the room & the nurse gave us a gown. Dominic was not happy with needing to strip down to his chones. He couldn't understand why he had to wear it & he was complaining he was cold.
Here's a pic of him in it...I couldn't resist

The NP came in and asked him a ton of questions, which he did really well answering. I think he would have done much better if he was seeing his normal Dr, but she wasn't available.
The NP had Dominic jump on one leg without any assistance & he couldn't do it...It was hillarious!!!
She was done with the physical & I started to tell her about his little cold he has had. Well come to find out, it's not a little cold, it's bronchitis! UGH! He is now on an antibiotic & is back on the inhaler for his asthma...It really stinks!
She went out & sent in the nurse...Those poor nurses, they get the hard part, IMO. The nurse was telling Dominic what she was going to do & showed him the tray. She asked him for his finger, just to do the finger prick & he already started freaking...remind me next time, taking Delayna is NOT the best thing when Dominic is getting shots!
So, I talked to him calmly & told him that it wouldn't hurt & it would be real fast...He didn't fall for it.
She pricked his finger & he jumped,,,my poor boy! He was ok though.
Then she told him to lay down on his back. Asked me to go to his head and explained to both of us that she was going to hold his legs & wanted mama to "hug" him while holding his arms down. Good thing I did, because his arms went flailing when the shot went in!
I had to hold Delayna, sitting on the exam table, while I "laid" ontop of Domi.
The nurse was SUPER fast, but it didn't help that pain at all! He screamed like nobody's business!
She got him up real fast & I was able to just hold him while he cried. But then Delayna started in too...OH BOY!
We got his prescription, got him dressed & we headed out. I asked him if he was hungry & of course he was, so through his tears, he took a breath and informed me he wanted Chicken Nuggets & fries from Mc Donald's. So, off to the golden arches we went...
We came home. Just as I was getting him out, Grammie pulled in & the faucet was turned back on...Boy does he know how to work her! She let him take over the t.v. after he ate his nuggets.
So, now we have to head out to pick up his birth certificate & he'll be all ready to start school August 24...

I've taken coloring my hair into my own hands!

Well Gail is quit busy working 6 days a week & only is doing hair on Saturdays. So, I have decided to take the coloring into my own hands. I bought 2 boxes of color today in hopes that it will turn out good. I did the lighter of the two today.

Here's pics of the process...

So what do you think???

3 Mos Already =(

So this post is about 3 weeks late, but I've been doing other things lately.
My girl is 3 months old already! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by!
She is doing 95% better with her colic & all together fussiness! She even fell asleep, in her carseat at church yesterday! Now that was a miracle! She can not stand her carseat, but is doing better!
She is interacting a lot more, talking, cooing & about ready to roll over! When she wakes up, she rolls herself, but hasn't quiet gotten to where she rolls over. She's also nawing on everything she can get into her mouth. I think teeting is on the horizon.
She still hasn't gone to the doctor, as I'm still fighting with them. They claim I didn't send "xyz" or never recieved, "abc"...All together a major pain!
But, she is growing nicely & doesn't seem to have any problems. I also planned on delay vaccinating her. I just have done LOTS of research & don't understand why the Dr's insist on shooting these poor babies with major concoctions every 2 months. Anyways, that's it for now. Here's some pics of my big girl...

This is Delayna & I at the LIFT conference we went to April 23-25th. She did awesomely good & I had a true revelation while there!

This is Delayna from today 5.4.09 sitting outside in her bouncer while I BBQ'd. Jose was out with her when I ran in to get seasoning & I came out to her sitting up watching her papa.

This was taken on her 3 month birthday. She looks like she's yawning, but she was eating her butterfly.

I forgot to add that I noticed a brown spot on the left hand corner of her right eye. I hope they don't turn brown!
