My poor little girl has been coughing until she gags every night, during the night and in the morning. I noticed that she did it when running around with her brother or friends also. So, I took her into the Dr. today who said that it most likely is her allergies and asthma acting up =(
She put her on Zyrtec and both of her inhalers Qvar and Albuterol. My poor baby, I hate having her on these meds, it scares me! My 'step-dad' passed away from his asthma issues and it just is scary.
It was a crazy busy day, no particular reason, just was. Then I was planning on going to Yucaipa to drop off a bible study book and some PC orders, but laid down at 2pm and passed out until 3:58! GUESS I WAS TIRED!
Got up and made a very yummy dinner (maybe I'll blog it tomorrow). Adi had practice and I had to get to the store for some essentials, we had absolutely no fruit, except for 1 banana. Mama needs her fruits & veggies!!!
Went to Albertsons and got some great deals, spent under $50 for 4 pkgs of chicken, 4 boxes of cereal, 2 pineapples, 8 cucumbers, 2 bottles of coffee creamer, chips and some other things. Not Bad if I do say so myself =) Then to Walmart to get the other stuff.
Got home and realized I forgot Dee's medicine..DUH MELISSA! Guess I need more than just a 2 hour nap when I'm not getting enough sleep for my brain to function, egh?
We are down to 2 days left of the school year. I'm kind of excited, kind of sad. I LOVE LOVE LOVE having my babies home, the lazy days of summer and just enjoying each other. Most moms can't wait for their kids to go back to get out of their hair, but I really do love having them home with me. I don't like the not having a schedule and routine, but whatev.
Alrighty, so I'm outta here, I'm going to try to get some good sleep and maybe blog tomorrow when I have some brain power!

30 days of Thankfulness ~Day 13
With my daughter screaming upstairs, I've gotta make it quick!
Today I'm thankful for craziness. I can't go into much detail right now, because my mom is buggin, kids are fighting & Delayna is screaming...But without all of this, it wouldn't be "My Life"!
Now back to my regular scheduled program of "tending to everyone's needs, but my own."
TTYS!

Earth Day
Well, as I'm sure everyone knows, today is earth day.
Normally, "Earth Day" wouldn't mean anything to me, but honestly, my eyes have really been open to what it really means. I'm not a nazi about saving water, electricity, recycling etc (and some peoples lists go on!). But, I am diligent in doing some of these things. I originally planned on cloth diapering Delayna, but in all honesty, things went the other way. We do recycle as much as we can without being nazi. I make sure we turn the water off while brushing our teeth, & lights get turned off when not needed.
Not only is all this stuff good for the earth and I'm teaching my children to "Live Green", but what I have had my eyes opened up to is...
This is the earth my Lord has made. He wants us to take care of his land.
At MOTS today, Kindra shared a verse out of the bible that had me really thinking.
It is Psalms 104. I am going to post it in The Message Translation, as I like the way it's put the best. I will add my personal comments in BOLD
1-14 "O my soul, bless God! God, my God, how great you are!
beautifully, gloriously robed,
Dressed up in sunshine,
and all heaven stretched out for your tent.
You built your palace on the ocean deeps,
made a chariot out of clouds and took off on wind-wings.
You commandeered winds as messengers,
appointed fire and flame as ambassadors.
You set earth on a firm foundation
so that nothing can shake it, ever. WOW, can you believe that we are set on a firm foundation, but at the same time, we're not even physically on a 'foundation'. We are suspended in the universe. God has made it to where NOTHING can shake it!
You blanketed earth with ocean,
covered the mountains with deep waters;
Then you roared and the water ran away—
your thunder crash put it to flight. CHILLS!
Mountains pushed up, valleys spread out
in the places you assigned them.
You set boundaries between earth and sea;
never again will earth be flooded.
Have you ever sat & thought, "how we are never flooded? How does the water not flood our earth?" It's because He has made it that way.
You started the springs and rivers,
sent them flowing among the hills. Miracles of nature, I think NOT! Plans by our Heavenly Father.
All the wild animals now drink their fill,
wild donkeys quench their thirst.
Along the riverbanks the birds build nests,
ravens make their voices heard.
You water the mountains from your heavenly cisterns;
earth is supplied with plenty of water.
You make grass grow for the livestock,
hay for the animals that plow the ground.
14-23 Oh yes, God brings grain from the land,
wine to make people happy,
Their faces glowing with health,
a people well-fed and hearty.
God's trees are well-watered—
the Lebanon cedars he planted.
Birds build their nests in those trees;
look—the stork at home in the treetop.
Mountain goats climb about the cliffs;
badgers burrow among the rocks.
The moon keeps track of the seasons,
the sun is in charge of each day.
When it's dark and night takes over,
all the forest creatures come out.
The young lions roar for their prey,
clamoring to God for their supper.
When the sun comes up, they vanish,
lazily stretched out in their dens.
Meanwhile, men and women go out to work,
busy at their jobs until evening. We complain when we labor, but yet, God has ordained us to do so...It is a blessing!
24-30 What a wildly wonderful world, God!
You made it all, with Wisdom at your side,
made earth overflow with your wonderful creations.
Oh, look—the deep, wide sea,
brimming with fish past counting,
sardines and sharks and salmon.
Ships plow those waters,
and Leviathan, your pet dragon, romps in them.
All the creatures look expectantly to you
to give them their meals on time.
You come, and they gather around;
you open your hand and they eat from it. Just picture that!
If you turned your back,
they'd die in a minute—
Take back your Spirit and they die,
revert to original mud;
Send out your Spirit and they spring to life—
the whole countryside in bloom and blossom.
31-32 The glory of God—let it last forever!
Let God enjoy his creation!
He takes one look at earth and triggers an earthquake,
points a finger at the mountains, and volcanoes erupt.
33-35 Oh, let me sing to God all my life long,
sing hymns to my God as long as I live!
Oh, let my song please him;
I'm so pleased to be singing to God.
But clear the ground of sinners—
no more godless men and women!
O my soul, bless God!
As I read that, and try to discect it, it's absolutely overwhelming that God loves us that much to do all of this for us. My Pastor, Todd, was teaching this past week and made a statement about when he was little, he had an image that God was up in heaven with his popsicle stick, digging roads for us. To think of our Magnificent Lord up in heaven, carving streets for little us, planting trees in the fields, filling our seas with fish. I am just in awe!But to think of how we have treated our earth after all these years. We have oils in our oceans, landfills full of our impulse buys, dirty yards that we let our kids destroy, we dump whatever, wherever, whenever.
I hope that as we are opening our eyes to "Living Green" you take a part to bring our world back to the way God intended it to be.

I am thowing in the towel!
I have tried and just am not succeeding. So I am throwing in the towel, with cloth diapering.
I'm not feeling guilty and I am standing proud knowing that I tried.
I thank all of those who came along side me and supported me and all the encouragement I received!
The reasons for my being done are as follows:
1) I have 4 children. The time it takes to do daily activities is barely enough, adding in cloth diapers is a bit much. *On a note, I must say, I did try! BUT, when you have 5 loads of laundry sitting in your room that needs to be put away & still clothes that need to be washed, not to mention the basket with diapers. You become overwhelmed*
2) Convenience. Honestly, I don't sit. I, unfortunately will be going back to work. I have 2 kids in soccer, traveling (if you don't understand, don't try to). Bible study 2 nights out of the week, church that we attempt to get to another night out of the week and of course church and youth group on Sunday.
3) Cost. YES, I *know* cloth diapering, in the long run, is cheaper. But, I don't have the money to put out on them right now. This is probably one of the biggest reasons I am giving up. I did the pre-folds, which I had my heart set on, but they just don't work for me. I did like the pockets, but those and the AIO/2's are quite expensive.
So, that's it. It's hard to admit this to myself, because I really had my heart set on cd'ing.

3 weeks down
Life has been so crazy busy, I feel like I jump on here just to escape!
Anyways, 3 weeks & 3 days are down.
On a good note: breastfeeding is getting easier, I am adjusting to being a 'new' mom again, Dominic is adjusting really well & Delayna for the most part is a really good baby! Oh and I'm down 3 more pounds...SQUEEEEEEE. I am really focusing to keep it up!
On a bad note: my poor baby is still very gassy. It is almost impossible to get her to burp after she eats. At night is the worse! She screams at the top of her lungs for about 10 mins. I have tried Mylocon Drops, Hylands Colic Tablets & an old 'hispanic' remedy of Manzanilla (translated simply as Chamomile Tea in pure form). I don't know what to do with this poor girl.
I have been told numerous times that I look tired...Gee Thanks!
It is almost impossible to get out of my house, seriously. I either have to change a diaper, put on shoes, nurse or get a jacket on (and not on myself!). Poor Adriana was picked up 50 mins late from school today, and in rainy weather! I at times feel like a horrible mom, but I know I'm doing my best. I am trying to accomodate Jose and all his needs along with the kids' and then wanting some "ME" time. It's just not happenin!
Well enough with the gripping. Little Miss is fussing,,,AGAIN! I am supposed to be at bible study in 5 mins (and my husband still isn't home and we still haven't eaten) and I have kids whining they are hungry.
Here are some pics. I have more that I have to do under individual blog posts...
Pretty in her Princess Sweat Suite (I'm LOVIN the sweat suites!)
My poor baby finished making his sandwich, because....
Pretty was screaming when I tried making his sandwich
Here she is content looking at her mobile. She really likes to be entertained.
I desperately need a swing!

New Blog Layout & Name
Ok, so I am in the process of having my blog re-designed to something original & I need a new name.
Since making this blog I have gone from it just being for the kids to general things going on in my life (I did have two, but that became too much!).
So I need some help with a new name for my blog.
One I am throwing around is "Life As A Soccer Mama".
Some help would be that I of course am a Pampered Chef Mama, a soccer mama, I have been blessed with 3 1/2 children (will be 4 in Jan/Feb), I love my husband and family, I am dedicated, an over achiever, loving, a christian woman who is striving to be the best I can unto the Lord. I am a Sunday School teacher, on the Youth ministry at my church and have a heart for people.
If you have any ideas, please post a comment. I will follow up and let you know what I decided...
And keep looking for updates :)
